
The Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California (VABANC) congratulates Thanh Ngo on his monumental appointment to serve as a judge on the Riverside County Superior Court.
“We are thrilled to see Thanh ascend to the Riverside County Superior Court,” said Thi Tran, President of VABANC. “His extensive record in both the private and public sector demonstrates a breadth of knowledge that is practical to judicial service. Thanh’s sound judgement and representation on the bench will be a shining example for other Vietnamese Americans in their legal career journey.”
A co-founder, strategic partner, and long-standing member of VABANC, Thanh Ngo brings more than two decades of legal experience to the Riverside County Superior Court. He has served as a Deputy District Attorney at the San Bernardino District Attorney’s Office since 2023. Ngo held similar positions at the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office, the Santa Cruz District Attorney’s Office, and the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. He previously was the Assessment Appeal Policy Director at the Alameda County Assessor’s Office from 2020 to 2021. In the private sector, Ngo was a Trail Attorney at TDN Law Group from 2013 to 2019.
Ngo was an Echoing Green Fellow at the Asian Law Caucus from 1994 to 1996. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California Los Angeles, School of Law.
